What Mia Femtech® actually is
Mia Femtech® is a tissue-preserving approach to breast enhancement. Rather than opening the breast, the technique uses patented high-tech instrumentation to create a small channel, sometimes described as a “nest”, for the implant. The implant is then placed through a discreet incision concealed in the armpit fold. Because the breast tissue itself is preserved rather than divided, the procedure aims to be less disruptive and quicker to recover from than conventional augmentation, although published follow-up is still limited to three years.

The journey, from consultation to recovery
Consultation and planning
Every Mia Femtech® journey at iQonic begins with an in-depth consultation. Mr Richards and the team assess your breast anatomy, listen carefully to your goals, and use advanced 3D imaging to help you visualise a realistic outcome before any decision is made. This is also where candidacy is determined honestly. If Mia Femtech® is not the right procedure for your anatomy or your goals, we will tell you, and explain what might be. There are at least 14 days’ reflection between consultation and any decision to proceed.
The procedure
On the day, the implant-placement step takes around fifteen minutes, usually under local anaesthetic. The implant is placed through the concealed armpit incision using the tissue-preserving channel technique. There is no general anaesthetic to recover from and no breast incision to heal.
Recovery and aftercare
Many patients return to light daily routines within a few days, although recovery varies and you will still have restrictions for several weeks. Aftercare is structured and supported, including ongoing guidance through the Adoreal patient platform, so that the experience does not end when you leave the clinic. Manufacturer warranty terms apply to your implants, and your surgeon will explain them.
