How to check a surgeon
You shouldn’t have to take our word for it. These public registers let you check any surgeon in the UK.
- GMC register. Confirms a doctor is licensed, and whether they are on the Specialist Register for plastic surgery. Search the GMC register
- BAAPS and BAPRAS. Professional associations for aesthetic and plastic surgeons. Find a BAAPS surgeon
- PHIN. Independent information on private consultants, including patient feedback. Private Healthcare Information Network
- CQC. Every hospital or clinic where surgery takes place must be registered with the Care Quality Commission. Our sites’ registrations
